Hi, I'm Lindsay, Certified Doula.

It is so nice to meet you!   Isn’t this the most wonderful, crazy journey you are on?

There is no doubt that having a baby is an exciting time, but I know it can also feel really overwhelming. With the right care, support and information you can feel more prepared and confident and less overwhelmed. As your doula, this is my hope for you.

I am a Saskatoon-based certified doula for birth and postpartum care, certified sleep consultant, trained infant sleep educator, and prenatal educator. I provide physical, emotional and informational guidance to families just like yours who are looking for warm care and unwavering support. Whether this is baby one or five for you, I'm here to back you up.

Wondering how I do this?

In pregnancy, I aim to empower you with the tools and information you need to plan for a positive birth experience, whatever that means for you. On the big day, I will be there with you and for you. Holding space and coaching you and your partner to be present, focused and prepared while your birth experience unfolds. When you bring your new baby home, you will have a postpartum support plan, that we have created together, to help you navigate your postpartum stressors. You will have a better understanding of newborn care, your healing after birth and normal infant sleep. All with the hopes of easing the overwhelm and transition of life with a new baby. I will also be there for you as you move through your postpartum. No questions are met with judgement, only empathy and care.

Imagine your needs being fully supported throughout pregnancy, the birth of your baby, and into postpartum.

It would be an honour to be your experienced, trusted and professional guide as you welcome a new baby into your family.

With care,

A little piece of my story...

My husband and I brought 3 babies into this world, and they have forever changed our lives. I entered our first pregnancy and birth excited but overwhelmed. Everything was new, there was so much information to learn and navigate through, and I had no idea what to expect. Feeling overwhelmed brought up a lot of fears and anxiety, and unfortunately my first brith experience was not a positive one. Yes my baby was healthy, but I was not. I felt I had given up my power. That feeling came home with me, and I had a tough time adjusting to motherhood.

Determined to have a better experience, and take my power back, we hired a doula on our support team for our next two births. That decision is exactly why I do this work and became a doula myself. For my husband and I, having someone always available to answer questions, listen to our concerns, and help us confidently navigate our experiences made all the difference. I felt supported and I felt my power.

Gentle guidance, warm care, and unwavering support from a trusted expert was invaluable to us. I want this for you too. I want you to feel your power. I am here to help and support you.

When I am not caring for families you will find me...
